Home Internet FAQs
Yes. All WiFibre residential services are CGNAT-based by default. If you require a public static IPv4 address (e.g. for remote access to a home server), we offer this for an additional $5 per month. Contact support to request it.
No. Our residential plans are month-to-month with no cancellation fees. Provide 30 days’ notice and your service will be disconnected accordingly.
Yes. All services include IPv6 at no extra charge. If you need a larger block, contact support and we will adjust accordingly. IPv6 is also defaulted on all CGNAT services (Carrier Grade NAT) and if your router supports V6 properly, you will get a /128 address.
Our local support team is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm AEST. Call us on (07) 5405 2500 or email [email protected]. We also monitor after-hours voicemail and act on urgent requests, including weekends and public holidays. You can also manage your service 24/7 via the My Account portal.

WiFibre operates two business network types. Direct Fibre is a dedicated point-to-point connection ideal for enterprise services. G-PON/XGS-PON is a shared passive optical network with a maximum 8:1 or 16:1 contention ratio. We are transparent about contention — speak to a WiFibre consultant for your specific site.
Setup and installation fees apply to all services. For business services contracted on a 3-year term, setup costs may be waived or significantly reduced.
WiFibre has deployed premium-grade fibre through multiple business parks across the Sunshine Coast, including Northshore Business Park, Bells Creek Business Precinct, Maroochydore Business Park, Kuluin Business Park, Warana Business Park, Currimundi Business Park, Coolum Beach Business Park, Sippy Downs Business Park, Buderim Business Park, Caloundra West Business Park, and Sports Hub Precinct. If your park is not listed, contact us to discuss a site assessment.
Yes. Our 10Gbps enterprise service supports BGP and hosting your own IP range subject to any technical limitations. You will be required to provide proof of ownership of any IP ranges or authority to broadcast that range, and you will be required to have your announcements removed from other services as we do not handle that for you. Contact our team to discuss requirements.
